Armidale veterinary hospital is a large ‘A class' hospital which is fully computerised to allow ready access to your pets' medical records. We have extensive facilities to provide total health care for your pet including hospitalisation, general anaesthesia, a full range of medical, surgical, dental and acupuncture.  

We are equipped for full surgical, medical care, dental care, radiology, endoscopy, electrocardiography, and intensive care.

Our own medical technologist performs the majority of our pathology testing in-house, so we can access these results quickly. We regularly update our equipment to maintain state of the art technological capabilities.

At New England Veterinary Centres we have a staff of seven highly skilled veterinarians with a wide range of experience. We also operate extended business hours to make veterinary advice and treatment more widely accessible. Our staff are friendly and are eager to assist you.

At New England Veterinary Centres we encourage pet insurance. We regularly encounter situations where a much-loved pet suddenly requires expensive veterinary treatment - this can be a serious financial strain when it occurs without warning and without budgeting.

 

Health insurance allows peace of mind that in these situations, you can embark on the best course of treatment without having to be concerned about overriding financial considerations.

 

There are a number of companies in Australia offering pet health insurance, either as a part of house and contents insurance, health insurance, (eg HCF, GIO) or as stand-alone pet policies. As is the situation in the human health insurance field, each one offers various features differentiating them from the competition.
